APPLE and Samsung have officially been put on watch. Chinese company Oppo has unveiled its two latest smartphones, with both being game changers in the mobile industry.

It’s new flagship device, the N3 features a 16-megapixel rotating camera which the company claims is the best on any smartphone at the moment.

The rotating camera not only allows for the best selfies possible on any phone, it lets you do things like automatic panoramic photos. The rear fingerprint sensor also allows you to encrypt ‘private’ photos with your fingerprint so only you can see them when going through your device’s images.

Photography is the highlight of the device, on top of its hardware features, new software options allow you to focus on moving objects to help avoid those blurry shots.

Aside from this, the company has focused on battery life, incorporating its ‘VOOC’ rapid charging with the device, meaning you can charge your phone from 0-75% in half an hour, or enough battery to make a two-hour phone call in five minutes.

The device’s screen is a 5.5-inch full-HD display, but the body of the device makes it unfortunately feel much bigger.

The other device announced, the Oppo R5 is now the world’s thinnest smartphone, at 4.85mm thin, which is over 2mm thinner than Apple’s iPhone 6. The design is very reminiscent of the iPhone 5, however each one is individually hand polished, which, with our brief hands-on offers a device that truly has a premium feel and touch. The 5.2-inch full-HD screen on the R5 is fantastic to look at and thankfully doesn’t let down the rest of the device.

Both devices will be coming to Australia, with a local price to be announced soon. US pricing for the N3 is US $649 and US $499 for the R5 which should be an indication of where it will be priced in Australia.

Sorting through a bunch of email is not a great way to spend your time, both on and off the clock. As a solution, Google has designed a new email service called Inbox by Gmail -- available on Android and Chrome -- that will help you get through your messages faster. Think of it as a mixture of the best Gmail and Google Now features. Sound interesting? Let's get started:

How to access Inbox by Gmail

Right now, Inbox by Gmail is available by invite only. Google has not given current users the ability to invite their friends. To gain access, you will need to send a request for an invite to inbox@google.com.Note: Google Apps is not currently supported.

What does this button do?

Messages in Inbox by Gmail are treated like a task list. You can pin messages to the top of your list, snooze them for later or sweep them away. Here's an explanation of each feature button:

Pin (thumbtack icon)

This is an upgraded version of Gmail's star markings. Pinning will keep the message at the top of your inbox, regardless of the category it belongs in.

Snooze (clock icon)

If you're a fan of Boomerang for Gmail, then you're going to love this feature. You can have Inbox remind you at a preset time, specific time or even a location, about taking action on an email. To quickly use this feature, swipe left across a message.

Sweep (check-mark icon)

This is a fancy way of saying "Done." Essentially, this will archive the message, not leave it lingering in your inbox. When viewing the list of messages, if you tap this button, it will archive all messages that are not pinned. (This might be great or terrible, depending on how you use your email list.) Additionally, you can swipe right across a message to use this feature.

If you're wondering where the Delete and Mark as Spam options have wandered off to, you can now find them in the three-dot menu button in the top right-hand corner.

These are very similar to the current tabs in Gmail, except now there are more categories. However, instead of seeing new messages in your inbox from multiple bundles -- as you would with the Unread first setting for Gmail categories -- you'll get an expandable entry that is labeled by bundle name.

Inbox by Gmail has a new assist feature that will attach useful information to reminders and email, like phone numbers or addresses. For example, if you create a reminder to make a dinner reservation and provide the restaurant name, the service will add the phone number and operating hours.

The Highlights feature will add at-a-glance information to the email list, so you don't have to look through each message for a specific attachment. If the attachment is a photo or video, you will see a thumbnail to help identify it.

Remember when Google Docs received a face-lift that added a new document button to the bottom right-hand corner of the screen? This same design has been implemented into the Inbox by Gmail app and Web UI, with an added bonus. When you press the button, recent contacts and actions will appear. This is just one more way Google wants to help you handle email efficiently.

Apple Pay is arguably the most straight-forward mobile payment solution we've seen thus far. Tim Cookannounced it has seen over 1 million users activate a card on the service in the first 72 hours -- more than the number of users who signed up for all similar services combined.

Yet with its ease of use, and simplistic approach, there are a few tips and settings you should know about.

Selecting a card at checkout

There are two ways to pay with Apple Pay at an NFC terminal. The first is to tap your phone to the terminal with your finger on the Touch ID button. Leaving your finger in place causes your default card to be used to process the payment.

The second method allows you to tap your phone to the terminal, without your finger on the Touch ID button, which brings up a list of the cards you've added to your Apple Pay account. You can then select the card you want to use for the transaction, place your finger on the Touch ID button and complete your purchase.

Apple Pay isn't just a form of payment within physical retail stores. Developers can add Apply Pay to iOS apps, making it possible to order a ride through Uber, or a new case for your iPad Air 2 in the Apple Store app using your fingerprint.

In order to save yourself some time with your first in-app Apple Pay purchase, add your billing and shipping info to your account.

• Launch the Settings app.
• Find and select Passbook & Apple Pay.
• Fill out the fields under the Transaction Defaults section.

Disable Alerts

Some service providers offer instantaneous alerts when an Apple Pay transaction goes through. Though, for those who don't want to receive an alert for each transaction, they can be a tad annoying. Luckily you can disable alerts on a card-by-card basis.

• Launch the Settings app.
• Find and select Passbook & Apple Pay.
• Select the card you want to disable alerts for.
• Move the Card Notifications switch to the Off position.

Remember, you will need to independently setup each device you use Apple Pay on. Since Apple stores your payment information in the "secure enclave," it doesn't sync between your devices as your Passbook Passes do.
