Since we take our pictures with us wherever we go on our smartphones, the need for real picture frames has fallen to the wayside. But if you like to add a little extra something to your pictures in the form a frame, Imikimi HD Free Photo Frames & Effects offers tons of ornate options to do so.
Imikimi has three simple steps for selecting a frame: search for a frame, add a photo, and share via Facebook, e-mail, or text. The frames are categorized by Hot Staff Picks, Samples, Most Used, Trending, and Newest. We have to admit that the frames were a little much for our tastes, but if you're into flowers, butterflies, candles, and ornate design, you'll appreciate what Imikimi has to offer. There are a few simple, more basic frame designs, but not in the same abundance. We selected a round frame with white flowers at the bottom, browsed for a picture from our Camera Roll (which you'll have to enable in your Privacy Settings), and placed our picture. Using the tools provided, you can flip the picture and add effects. Using the Share feature, we posted our newly framed picture on Facebook for all of our friends to see. There's also an option to mail the framed picture as a postcard.
If you want to add a little (or a lot) of embellishment to your pictures, Imikimi HD Free Photo Frames & Effects is a good way to go. We recommend it for all users.

What's new in this version: Facebook login for iOS5.x fixed. Some of you may have noticed an "add text" button appear when you are adding photos. This is an alpha feature we are working on, but it was not meant to be released yet. It isn't ready for prime time. We have turned it back off in this release.
